Hiroaki Yamaguchi
Biography
Yamaguchi Hiroaki’s broadcasting career includes stints at NHK’s Nagasaki, Shimane, and Ehime bureaus before joining NHK WORLD-JAPAN. He has reported from across Japan, including stories on A-bomb survivors and the aftermath of the Fukushima disaster. Hiroaki spent part of his youth in Boston and Abu Dhabi, and studied in Oxford as an exchange student. These days, you’ll find him at the anchor desk of NHK NEWSLINE and on Learn Japanese from the News. He also presents news in Japanese on NHK’s domestic television service.
