Lexa Maxa
Biography
Lexa Maxa is an actor/singer/dancer, with training in all three disciplines consisting of Scene Study, On Camera acting, Vocal Performance/Technique, and Dance: Tap, Ballet, Modern. She started her career in entertainment by performing in solo shows. Some New York City credits include; The Metropolitan Room, Triad Theatre, The Bitter End, and the Schimmel Center opening for JoJo and Jesse McCartney. Now based in the Midwest, Lexa has been part of the Broadway World Regional Award wining production of Disenchanted!, which streamed with Broadway On Demand; on stage as Selene in the moving drama, Night Blooming at Detroit Repertory Theatre, and Elvira in Blithe Spirit, for which she was nominated for a Best Actress in a Comedy AFL Theatre Mask Award and won Best Ensemble and Best Play. Additional regional credits include: choreographing while also performing as Michelle in Sister Act; and a leading role in a film selected as a thriller finalist for the STL Filmmaker's Showcase. Additionally, she is booking commercials, industrials, and print campaigns for nationally recognized brands. In her free time she enjoys playing the piano, songwriting, and traveling. Her first love will always be entertaining and performing--be it plays, musicals, solo music shows, dance, or film. One thing that has always captivated her about the entertainment industry is the ability to communicate through creative expression in a way that no words could ever express. Lexa aims to inspire others with her many talents on or off stage.
