Lisette Pomerants
Biography
The sensual, husky-voiced beauty with a background in modeling and ballroom dancing was chosen to create the role of the rebellious high-class 1930s call girl Monika in the screen version of Mart Sander's novel trilogy The Whores. As the series catapulted into popularity, so did she. Her roles in 13th Take and Eerie Fairy Tales (where she portrayed a seductive mermaid) demonstrated her growth as an actress and her role in the second season of The Whores - The Women's War - was beefed up accordingly. Her finest hour yet arrived in the female lead of the romantic thriller The Kennedy Incident, the big-screen version of The Women's War, which earned her the Best Actress award at the Europa Film Festival in Madrid (2021).
