Bernard Fortin

Biography

Bernard Fortin (born January 17, 1957 in Baie-Comeau) is a Quebec actor and doubler born on January 17, 1957 in Baie-Comeau. He is, among other things, the regular Quebec voice of Tom Hanks, Woody Harrelson, Ned Flanders, Chef Wiggum and Reverend Lovejoy. Bernard Fortin is a graduate of the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Montréal, promotion 1981. He also lends his voice to Ned Flanders, police officer Clancy Wiggum and Reverend Lovejoy in the Quebec version of Simpsons. He also lends his voice to Henri Hill in Henri pis sa gang. He is also the interpreter of the theme of the Adventurers of Space, animated drawing that was first broadcast in French in 1987. He also made the voice of the character Tinky Winky in the popular children's series Les Télétubbies. He also doubled a character in the animated series Star Wars. He also made the voice of Ed, representation of the serial killer Ed Gein, in the short Quebec animation film Pogo and his friends directed by François Guay in 2008. He was for many years the spokesperson for the Harvey's restaurant chain during his advertisements.
